This setup was similar to the one that I used for my self portraits. I used two flashes firing into reflective umbrellas, set up on each side of the camera. The best part of taking pictures of anything besides yourself is that that camera isn't anchored onto a tripod. Instead, you have the freedom to move around, zoom in and out, and create better and more unique images.
