Hike On Blackett's Ridge, Sabino Canyon, Tuscon, AZ, January, 2009
For our first hike in Tucson, we headed up to the Sabino Canyon Recreation area and made a 6.2 mile hike to the top of Blackett's Ridge. This is the trip where we discovered that Tucson is not in the middle of the desert but is in fact snuggled nearby some very impressive peaks. By the time we reached the summit, a mere 1800 foot gain, we were humbled into admiration. For more information, click here.
