Looping Around The Douglas Spring Trail

Some friends and I made an impromtu hike one afternoon up the Douglas Spring Trail. Part of the loop includes the Three Barrel Trail, which we've visited before. By this point, we are in decent enough shape to really cruise along the trail, but we mosied along, keeping a sharp eye out for snakes and other critters. The landscape is greening up quickly, and we're hoping for more animals to be out. We took enough time to be out in the desert for a beautiful sunset, an experience that is always enjoyable.
