Soldier Canyon & Mt. Lemmon, Tuscon, AZ, January, 2009
We went with some friends for another hike just up the road from our apartment. This hike, up Soldier's Canyon, was shorter, as we ended up going about 1.5 miles. Still, it was a 1500 foot gain, still quite substantial. Then we continued up the road to Mt. Lemmon, which tops at over 8000 feet and has the Mt. Lemmon Ski Resort. Many of these pictures are from that drive.
