Birthday Trip To Big Wave Country
Big Sur, CA, September 28-29, 2010
For Aaron's birthday, we headed down south of Monterey to stay in a little campground tucked into the massive redwood groves along the Big Sur coastline. It is wild country down there, and the wave are amazing. The beaches are beautiful, and rocky outcrops make the surf seem very mysterious and ancient. Even better, being well into fall meant that the summer crowds were largely gone. A great trip, for sure.
