Visiting Historic Downtown Dallas, TX
June, 2010
Family came into town, so we braved the already overwhelming heat of June in Texas, and headed out to explore a little bit of the fairly ugly city of Dallas. We visited the Dallas Arboreum, which was quite beautiful. We also headed down the DART (the Dallas lightrail) to Downtown, where we visited the JFK museum and saw where he was assassinated. All in all, it wasn't so mind-changing that I felt I could call Dallas beautiful, but it was nice to explore a bit of this city.
