Bushwhacking In Denali Nat'l Park
Alaska, July 22-23, 2010
We camped overnight in Denali, an experience that can only be described as astonishing. This park is almost entirely undeveloped, with nothing but a single road leading into it (no traffic allowed). There are no trails, so hiking must be done by bushwhacking. There are signs of animals everywhere--bears, moose, caribou, lynx, and much more. It's about as pristine of an area that one can ask for. We had a really great time, a wonderful experience, in this beautiful part of the US.
