I stayed out all afternoon. It was interesting seeing the changes in the colors as the day wore on. Earlier, everything was so bright and luminescent. Later, the color became richer and deeper, the reds and oranges standing out, and the leaves lit up even more. It was as though the colors, maybe the air itself, thickened as the sun began to set.
