The core of my equipment consists of three hotshoe speedlight flashes, a couple of tripods, several umbrellas, some radio triggers and receivers for the flashes, and a background stand that I put together by cutting up 1/2 inch PVC piping into 2 foot lengths. I use connectors to put together a stand that can be as high as eight feet and just as long. I have also made some speedlight snoots.
