Natural Bridge State Park, Madison, WI, October, 2008
There is another state park near the Devils Lake park, called Natural Bridge State Park. It's aptly named for a stone structure in the very small park, like the famous stone bridges in Arches National Park in Utah. Here, in the underlying cave, they say the first humans to inhabit Wisconsin set up their camp and eventually a permanent settlement. At any rate, it's a beautiful if very small park, and the cloudy day quickly became sunny and gorgeous.
