We had a fantastic time in Petrohué. It was also quite an adventure. This area, east of Puerto Montt, is amazingly beautiful. It's very small, no businesses except a hotel and the sales building for the ferry ride across Lago Todos los Santos. A short boat ride away is the only other lodging, a couple of small hospedajes, which are homes which rent out rooms for travelers. For more information, look at this page. For a map, click here.
