Early in the morning, we paid for the room, then took our boat across the waters. The boatman didn't charge us, as he felt he'd overcharged us the previous day and wanted us to feel that he didn't. We found David waiting for a bus to Puerto Varas, so we rode back with him, then continued on our way to Valdivia.
