We found a place that was special, for many reasons, to stay, dropped off our stuff, and headed out. The tourist office was closed, but we bought sausage at the meat shop and bread in another shop, and I already had brie, so we ate, then found a little cafe. Rochefort is known for its Trappist beer, which is dark and strong. I tried the three types, starting at 7.5 percent and working to 11.5 percent.
