From a photographic sense, it was an interesting place. The weather wasn't terribly cooperative, but it also gave more towards that sense of quiet moldering, a place that doesn't have to keep immaculate for tourists, where walls and buildings slowly cover with mosses, and all blends into the background over time. It was a challenge to draw scenes from it, but some pictures were very satisfying.
