Finally, at the furtherest point of the certain trail I was on, there is a bend with a 90 degree turn. Years and years of flow have carved out a deep, wide pool that almost looks like a lagoon, and if not for the muddy waters from the recent rainstorms, it might have invited a swim. So, it was a very pleasant hike.
