Another aspect that drew me back to Danville was the old industrial aspect of the city. I wanted to capture an almost empty area, which doesn't really reflect the industrial part. There are crumbling brick buildings and empty lots, but there seemed to be a lot of renovation and commerce there as well. I had to work hard to avoid this to make the pictures desolate, the area disintegrating.
