After we'd seen all we wanted of the Falls, we headed out, as far as we could get that night. Even in New York, the area around there is so ugly and commercial, we just wanted to get away. We drove until well past dark, then stayed in a sort of dingy hotel/bowling alley, which was better than being in Niagra.
