We drove down through New York and into Pennsylvania, again crossing some beautiful ground. Overall, it was a beautiful trip. The weather worked very well in our favor, just about right. The leaves were changing in Algonquin Park, and so we had a little taste of fall. We lived pretty cheap, finding decent hotel rooms, and the van worked out nicely. We put about 2200 miles on while I was there, and even after I'd returned to NC, my parents put another 300 on before heading back to Colorado.
